IPRO Announces New Web Portal for its Software as a Service Offering

Changes enhance infrastructure, improve efficiencies

Phoenix, AZ (October 1, 2009): IPRO Tech, a leader in the design of scalable, easy to manage litigation support software as well as e‐Discovery software, announced the launch of its new web portal interface for IPRO Nimbus. Among the numerous improvements are greater control and collaboration for the end‐user plus easy referencing for reports and information summary. The product continues to offer the ultimate in flexibility, offering eCapture and eReview on demand, while maintaining the ability to eliminate all upfront costs on an enterprise level e‐discovery application and first pass review hosted on the web.

According to Megan Wilcox, SaaS Program Manager at IPRO, the changes signify the evolution of IPRO Nimbus – creating a more unified look and accessibility through the web that is speedy, efficient and easy to use. One primary change she noted is the addition of greater control options. “Through this new web portal interface, and new log‐in methods, we’ve given additional control and another layer of security to the user. Through the administrator, people will have access to specific areas, allowing the admin to customize the access as needed,” she said.

Wilcox says the new web portal interface was built from the ground up, so that the graphics are new and attractive and the functionalities are sensible. A collaborative message board, for example, allows users to post information on success, troubles or extent of work which is especially important as one shift ends and another begins. All users can see the same information and be on the same proverbial page as they begin work. Report information can be accessed from the web interface rather than relying on entry into the server, thus streamlining the process of determining job status for the project manager.

Other features include:
  • File count, which provides information on files and can be customized for preference, i.e. file types, volume of data in file, number of files.
  • Activity alerts, which offer notification of an element that may not be working exactly as planned, acting as a warning before entering a troubleshooting phase.
  • Time preferences, offering different time zone settings for geographical changes
  • Full project review, permitting access to the complete hierarchy of the project from the web
  • Exporting capabilities, that give the users the ability to export information into a PDF
  • Easy navigation

Wilcox said that a Learning Center with video demonstrations will also be available, acting as a visual handbook, and eliminating or reducing the need for tech calls. She noted that the nature of the Software as a Service hasn’t changed as a highly secure, efficient and effective EDD process. But the new remote environment supplies additional strength, speed and customization which make IPRO Nimbus unique and an even more attractive option for users.

“This new interface with the already powerful IPRO Nimbus environment is a great benefit to our customers,” said Wilcox. “Unlike others in the business that are service companies, we are a software company – we aren’t going to charge fees for project management. We provide the tools – and our customers enjoy the control.”
