Day In the Life

As our first FP&A Analyst, you will provide invaluable insight and assistance to the CFO and Controller and be responsible for developing a best-in-class Finance function for the organization. You will be expected to own the budgeting forecasting process for the entire organization while making improvements on the current process. You’ll give valuable insight on the research, selection and implementation of a Financial Planning & Analysis Software to automate processes and provide the organization with data driven insights. You will provide guidance to company budget owners throughout the year regarding forecasting and organizational KPI’s. We will rely on you to combine the best financial analysis with solid business intuition to help Ipro make confident, fact-based decisions.

Challenges you will help us solve:

  • Improve upon the booking process in Salesforce by eliminating the manual manipulation of data for the output of bookings report
  • Translate quantitative information to meaningful information for non-financial people
  • Tell an accurate and compelling story via presentation slides on Ipro’s financial matters for quarterly Board meetings

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is skilled at making process improvements in Excel to maximize the tool’s capabilities for the current budget process
  • Is comfortable in interacting with Executive Team in preparing reports to assist in their decision making
  • Is familiar with NetSuite
  • Thinks strategically in matters such as profitability of a revenue line or the cost of a particular product or service
  • Understands bookings, revenues and forecasts in Salesforce

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a financial analyst role doing budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Experience with data compilation and converting it into useable format
  • Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition side, department structures and types of expenses for a technology company

Ideal candidate would possess:

  • Familiarity with a SaaS pricing model
  • Experience in implementing a FP&A application
