Ipro Innovations Drew Large Crowds for World-Class Education and Fun
Tempe, AZ – May 4, 2016 – Ipro Tech, LLC, a worldwide leader in the design of eDiscovery software, held its annual Ipro Innovations on April 25-27 for eDiscovery professionals. The event, which was held in Scottsdale, Arizona brought together litigation experts and attorneys to share ideas and make connections.
Ipro Innovations is a two and half-day educational event geared towards providing the global Ipro network of law firms, corporations, government agencies and legal service providers with the best knowledge and training possible to get the most out of their software investment, streamline their workflow and grow their businesses.
The conference hosted 70 educational tracks which gave Ipro partners and clients an opportunity to engage in hands-on product sessions, learn new industry trends and best practices from leading experts. The general sessions offered a sneak peak of new Ipro product innovations and Ipro’s ADD Automated Digital Discovery platform designed to simplify the eDiscovery process. Other speakers included Kelly Twigger, principal of ESI Attorneys, discussing how to Create Better eDiscovery Teams and a keynote session from Chris Valasek, white hat hacker, who famously hacked into the Jeep Cherokee. Ipro partnered with The Sedona Conference for a special Sedona Conference track, which included sessions on data security and privacy, new international data protection policies and recent Amendments to the Federal Rules. Speakers include David Shonka, Acting General Counsel, Federal Trade Commission and Michelle Burns, United States Magistrate Judge, Arizona, as well as leading experts on federal and international law.
Innovations also included fun activities including a kick-off party at Top Golf, a Salsa Challenge where contestants competed to make the best salsa by the ingredients they could get to first, or beg, borrow and steal. Attendees also got to participate in the Ipro Knowledge Bowl, a virtual trivial contest where players used their eDiscovery knowledge to battle for cash prizes. Chris Plauschinn of Commonwealth Legal took home the grand prize of $1250.
“Innovations had a record turnout this year, with a broad cross section of the industry represented. Having so many different groups present goes to the heart of what we’re trying to do as company, which is to bring eDiscovery teams together and make the process easier and more automated,” said Kim Taylor, President and CEO. “One of our goals with putting on Innovations is to give our customers a dynamic environment to learn, network and to get to know the Ipro team from all areas of the company.”
